About The Peak Atlas Breakout Stand
One of the first gadgets I designed was the 3-Pin ZIF Breakout board. Though it can be used in a variety of contexts, I created it to be used with my Peak Atlas DCA75 device as a way of speeding things up. I didn't want to fidget with component leads and those small, fragile hooks every time I wanted to measure something.
Just recently I upgraded my own jerry-rigged DCA stand (made from an old cigar box) to this neat 3d printed design. It receives your DCA device and grips it firmly while also accepting your HA! Labs 3-Pin ZIF breakout board. The result is a solid, one piece contraption that helps you make fast work of measuring your devices.
If you've already got a 3-Pin ZIF Breakout board, you can buy just the stand+screws. Otherwise you can buy the stand+screws bundled with a 3-Pin ZIF Breakout.
And if you have access to a 3d printer, you can just download FREE STL files for the stand from the sidebar here and save yourself a few bucks! I even included a 'snap in' design so you don't have to source the screws if you don't want to.
